Lady Renyard (Silver fox) Lifesize

$7,200.00

LADY RENYARD

Renyard was a common name for the red fox in the 1800 hundreds and the early 1900 hundreds.  Silver fox, black fox and cross fox were used for the different color phases.

Early one September morning I had the good fortune to see and photograph a female Silver fox. She had no fear of me and I was thrilled to get some good pictures of her.

Once she sat and looked at me . I thought “what a nice bronze that would make in her winter coat sitting on the snow.” Seeing the finished piece brings a happy feeling and a fond memory of a very special day.
