A black bear and an ancient white pine stump are dwarfing an oak seedling, part of the next generation of new
forest. It was done to commemorate 100 years of Forestry and Wildlife management at the University of Maine. The sales will help finance a monument of Cub Scouts at Nutting Hall on the Orono campus.
