    Wolverine’s Revenge

An Alaskan trapper returned to his cabin after a two-day absence. A wolverine had broken in and carried off many articles including axes, cooking utensils, a shovel, boots and snowshoes before burying them at different locations. The intruder, unsuccessful in his attempt to free a snowshoe caught in an alder snag, lost his patience and destroyed it. The trapper eventually recovered all his lost belongings, and displayed the demolished “trophy” on his wall. Now he locks his door. And, the wolverine still roams free.
